There's an argument to be made that people wouldn't be all that interested in Coyote vs. Acme if it weren't for the way David Zaslav tried to kill it. By trying to shelve the project, Warner Bros. Discovery only drew attention to its habit of disappearing nearly completed movies in order to cash in on tax write-offs. Coyote vs. Acme's generally positive reviews are on the money; it really is one of the best Looney Tunes movies in years. In theory, this suggests that the movie might do well at the box office and become a case study in WBD making terrible decisions. Ironically, though, all of the drama surrounding the live-action / animated … Read the full story at The Verge.
Adding more communication pathways between agents doesn’t necessarily improve multi-agent performance. In a controlled, reproducible experiment across 50 runs, recovery remained remarkably stable from 20% to 100% relationship density. But as the network became denser, the fraction of edges actually used fell sharply—revealing a gap between configured connectivity and behavioral connectivity. ABC is suing the Federal Communications Commission over claims the agency "waged a retaliatory campaign" against its networks over the content they broadcast. In a lawsuit filed in federal court on Tuesday, ABC and its parent company Disney accuse the FCC of "punishing ABC for its speech" by threatening its broadcast licenses. It's the latest escalation in the dispute between ABC and the Trump administration, which has been critical of the network's political coverage - especially by late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and The View. The FCC opened an investigation into The View's airtime of political candidates in February and ordered ABC stations … Read the full story at The Verge.
Enterprise teams running AI agents at scale are finding that a single model handles every task poorly — either the model is too expensive for simple questions or not capable enough for hard ones. Model routing, which picks the right model for each task automatically, is becoming the fix.Snowflake’s Cortex AI Gateway now offers dynamic model routing to address that: enterprises can select “auto” instead of a fixed model, and the system routes each task to whichever model offers the best combination of quality and cost. Snowflake said the capability can cut token costs by as much as 3x on some workloads — a figure from the company’s own internal testing — after finding that simple questions were often handled by its most capable model, making responses more expensive and slower than necessary. The move lands amid a broader industry shift toward automated model routing. Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud and Nvidia have all announced some form of model routing technology. Snowflake argues that
