George Arison is done letting Wall Street's "Grindr discount" go unchallenged — in a wide-ranging Q A, the CEO walks us through how AI, a controversial $350-plus EDGE tier, and a bet on healthcare and long-distance matchmaking are turning Grindr into the "gayborhood in your pocket" he's been promising since 2022.
Enterprise AI has entered a new era. Organizations are rapidly moving beyond assistants that answer questions to autonomous agents capable of reasoning, invoking tools, accessing enterprise applications, coordinating with other agents, and completing multi-step business workflows with minimal human intervention. This shift represents a fundamental change in how software operates. Traditional applications execute predefined logic written by developers. AI agents, however, dynamically determine how to achieve an objective. They decide which tools to use, which APIs to call, what information to retrieve, and how to sequence actions based on context. That flexibility unlocks enormous business value, but it also introduces a new class of security risks.Much of today s AI security discussion focuses on prompt injection, model vulnerabilities, and data leakage. These are important concerns, but they represent only part of the challenge. Once an AI agent has successfully authenticated and begin

There is a clear repeating trend in agent deployments: The gateway is the first control teams reach for, but it is the one they are least ready to run. This is because gateways sit on top of identity and attribution layers that are mostly not there. The first layer of risk is not hypothetical. In June, CISA added a LiteLLM flaw to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog after attackers were caught abusing it in the wild. The bug ran commands on the host through the gateway itself, and chained with a second flaw it required no credentials. It was one of seven common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) disclosed in that single AI gateway in a month. This is the layer many enterprises reach for first to secure their AI agents. When considering secure agent architecture, gateway controls should not be the first control. They should be the fifth. Most models on the maturity of agent security describe the controls a company will need in the future. They tend to miss, from my experience, th
Over 12 terabytes of data, containing builds of every game uploaded to Steam between 2003 and 2013, has been leaked. We don't know everything in the archives yet because of its massive size. But people have already dug up assets related to the canceled Half-Life 2: Episode 3, content cut from Portal 2, and a build of a game called F-Stop that's set in the Portal universe but is built around a camera mechanic. The leak also includes titles from third-party developers. Early versions of Call of Duty and Resident Evil installments have been dug up, as have builds of Mirror's Edge, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Dragon Age: Origins. And more is lik … Read the full story at The Verge.

NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Telescope blasts off. | Photo: NASA / John Kraus After funding struggles and a name change, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has been successfully launched. It will now make a three-month, one-million-mile journey to its orbit at the second Sun-Earth Lagrange point (L2) beyond the Moon. From this vantage point, Roman will conduct an unprecedented survey of the universe. Its field of view is 100 times larger than Hubble's and, according to NASA, it can survey the sky 1,000 times faster using its 300-megapixel infrared camera. Roman also has a Coronagraph system that can block and mask glare from stars, allowing it to directly image exoplanets, even smaller, older, and colder planets … Read the full story at The Verge.
